People, look what arrived for me today -
original DOOM and Wolfenstein 3D floppies
They took a whole week to get to me from the Volga region, but it was worth it. This is literally a collectible rarity that I managed to snatch in almost perfect condition

C ID Software I first met him when I was already a student. But even though DOOM 7 years older than me, the game left the same mark on my heart as it did for gamers in the 90s. There is something indescribable that attracts me and many others to the games of this studio ( and in Solar I worked in the department with the abbreviation UAC , that's why DOOM is present in my life even where you wouldn't expect it )
The kits themselves look simply amazing - there are fully preserved floppy disks with intact stickers, original instructions in English, and perfectly preserved boxes. For me, this is not just part of the collection, but a piece of that era that I did not have time to catch

A logical question may arise: “Well, you bought original floppy disks, but how are you going to run games from them?” . And here I will answer - there is something! But I'll tell you about this a little later.
