Despite the fact that I initially wrote the application for the rover for the iOS operating system, I have it won't work publish it on the App Store 😢

📱 First of all, this is due to Apple's terrible policies and attitude towards developers. If the guys from Google is asking for 2.5k for a perpetual developer license, then the Cupertino guys went much further... 📱

🤬 Apple Developer license costs $99 (more than 9k rubles) per year. That is, in order to publish their applications in the App Store, the developer must contribute more than 9k to Tim Cook every year

And although I am very kind to anyone who ordered a rover from me, I am not morally ready to pay Apple that much money every year just so that several iPhone owners can use the My Rover application 😵

🔒 At the same time, Apple's closed system does not allow you to install the application not from the official store. This year, the EU, through force and antitrust law, forced the Apple company to provide the opportunity to install alternative app stores. Ours are also not sitting still and have already promised that RuStore will appear on iOS in the second half of 2025 🧑‍💻

The My Rover mobile application for iPhone, of course, is written and can really be installed on your phone in developer mode using Xcode and my repository on GitHub. The only problem is that it will have to be reinstalled every 7 days , as Apple imposes restrictions on such applications for testing 😤

I understand perfectly well that this is not a solution to the problem at all, and personally I would not be at all comfortable using it. Therefore, at the moment I started developing a universal version of the application for managing rovers - web version, accessible from a browser on your mobile device 🤩

And here's why it's really good:
📱 Owners iPhones will be able to be used without any problems this web application from your device
🤖 Owners of Android smartphones will also be able to use it without any problems
📱 You will be able to control your rover from a tablet, from a laptop, from any device where you can install Google Chrome
