A little less than a week left until one of the coolest conferences in the field of information security (yes, I’m a little late with this post, I’m all busy 😅)

We are, of course, talking about BACON 2026 ( https://bekon.luntry.ru/). Just a moment, the only conference of its kind on the security of containers and container environments

Last year ( https://t.me/maxienergy_channel/232) I was on BACON as a listener. And this year I will go as a speaker ( https://bekon.luntry.ru/#programma2026) (feel this career growth 🤌)

At the conference I will give a presentation on protecting container environments from cryptojacking. Let's talk about how such an attack generally manifests itself in Kubernetes, what signals can be seen at different levels of the infrastructure, and why one single alert almost never gives the full picture. Using the example of a stand I developed, I will show how disparate events can be connected and turned into a full-fledged investigation.

This year there will be two tracks at BACON (Ingredients and Recipes). Both are dedicated to different aspects of container security, so there will be a place to listen to experienced specialists, look at practical cases and, perhaps, take away a couple of ideas that you will then really want to try to implement yourself (just don’t engage in cryptojacking, you can sit down for that😉)
