🫢 What, what, what are our... Rovers made of? I described the entire assembly process in…

I described the entire assembly process in detail in my article on Habré, but since not everyone read it, I decided to make a short post with the “anatomy” of modified rovers
1. Microcontroller . I use an ESP32-C3 SuperMini in the rover. The microcontroller receives commands from the user via the smartphone and processes them, converting them into actions. It is this that allows you to connect to the toy using the application, turn the backlight on and off, and also give commands to the motors🧠
2. Charging board . It protects the rover's battery from overdischarge and overcharge, ensuring stable operation of the device. In the rover I use the TP4056 board⚡️
3. Battery . In the rover I use a small 350 mAh lithium polymer battery with a power supply of 3.7 Volts. The battery stores and supplies energy to operate the rover.🔋
4. Motor Driver . It can be compared to the human nervous system. Just as nerves transmit signals from the brain to the muscles, causing them to move, the motor driver transmits commands from the robot's "brain" to the motors. In the rover I use L298N mini⚡️ ⚡️
5. Motors . In the rover, I previously used 716 motors from quadcopters, but due to their unstable operation and low torque, I decided to switch to motors with planetary gearboxes. They are the muscles of the rover that allow it to move.🛞
6. ON/OFF type switch . It allows you to manually turn the rover's power on and off by passing current from the battery to the microcontroller🔚
7. LEDs . They provide illumination for the rover and its headlights.💡
Now you have a better understanding of your little delivery robot. Let this make your day a little more interesting.
