New Year's gift from Positive Technologies
🟥
(
Well, personally, I think it’s like that, my tastes are very peculiar
)
Positive Technologies has released a new huge article about cyber threats to the industrial Internet of things. Experts described in detail how companies are implementing IIoT to monitor and automate production processes, and how attackers are exploiting vulnerabilities in equipment, network protocols and cloud platforms. The article mentions a large number of different details: about botnets that can “hijack” IoT devices, about attacks by APT groups, and about how dangerous weak passwords are. Special attention is paid to how ransomware and hacktivists can disable critical equipment
⚠
In my opinion, the article turned out to be really voluminous - it is clear that Positive Technologies experts conducted a real study. It is very important to raise the topic of security of IoT technologies in principle, because the Internet of Things is becoming the core of many industries. We certainly need more studies like this. So, you see, the joke “S” - security in the abbreviation IoT “will become a thing of the past. I highly recommend reading the article. The material is really worthy
