New year - new job
💼
I'm not a big fan of jumping from one job to another ( Nowadays this phenomenon is called ghosting ), but sometimes situations happen when, for one reason or another, you have to leave your current organization and go
free swimming
look for another team
This is exactly what happened to me in December of last year. I had to leave SKB Kontur, where I worked as a DevSecOps engineer
🕗
While for some, December was spent in the pre-New Year bustle, while for others it was filled with tasks and burning
asses
deadlines, I went through a marathon consisting of an endless number of technical interviews and calls with recruiters from different organizations
It also happened that in one day I could go through up to three interviews with different companies and for different positions. I can say with confidence that I have never gone through so many interviews in a fairly short period of time
📞
But I like one phrase that I have used more than once in my 24 years of life ( yes, too old for quadrobing, but still quite young to discuss ointments for joint pain ). And this phrase - the one who walks will master the road . I am deeply convinced that if you do something, something will happen.
As a result, I received several tasty offers. In terms of salary and conditions, I won everywhere compared to my previous place of work. From the available offers, I chose the one that seems to me to be the most profitable for me.
😏
For now, I won’t say where exactly and what position I went to. I don’t like to rush things in our extremely unstable world. As soon as I am sure that I definitely want to work here, that I am satisfied with the tasks, the team, and I see real opportunities for my development, I will tell you about my new job
What stories do you have about finding a new job? Let's chat, it's interesting
