Today is celebrated International Data Protection Day 🥷

In this regard, it’s time to remind about the best practices of information security in this direction. So, here are my recommendations:

1️⃣ Use strong passwords ( minimum 8 characters, letters in different cases, numbers and special characters )

2️⃣ Enable two-factor authentication wherever possible

3️⃣ Never post on your social networks ( even closed ones ) information that should not be made publicly available ( passport details, addresses, telephone numbers, etc. )

4️⃣ Do not click on dubious links, do not open attachments from unknown addresses.

5️⃣ Always double-check information, do not trust suspicious letters and calls

6️⃣ Avoid using public networks

7️⃣ Use services that help you check whether your mail and accounts are compromised ( there is a popular site haveibeenpwned.com )

Remember that in this day and age, data is of great value to criminals, scammers and hackers. Protect information about yourself and do so wisely and carefully 🧠
